AC Micro sent me an engineering copy of the 2.4b, couldnt OC 1 mhz without it crashing, AND I have yet to recieve a refund. Parts PC messed up my order(Simple ABIT BE7) about 7 times until I canceled and went through another company.

they sent you an engineering sample. Were the multi's unlocked? thats a rare find if so. Also not to be a jerk but if it does 2.4 you shouldn't send it back, it does whats advertised. No overclocking is guarenteed or implied with the purchase of a cpu.

I agree, it's definately not their fault that the CPU can't overclock, but if they messed up your order 7 times, that's pretty harsh! I would definately demand some sort of credit.

Yes, but also, selling an engineering processor is illegal and false advertisement when I thought I was getting a Retail processor the first time.

That's what I thought as well. Engineering Samples were never meant to be sold in the public. I would suggest trying to get an RMA, and if that fails, contact Intel directly.
