F@H STATS PICS for SIGS!!

Ok, alot of places have these F@H stats pics in there sigs that look really neat. Well, we cannot put images in our sigs, so I made one out of asterisks and stuff. If everyone has the SAME stats thing in their sig, non folders who do now know about it will see it all and will want to investigate. I was thinking it would get more folders. It seems to work for other places that can put those stats pics in their sigs. And those all look alike so people know it is for a certain thing. Anyways, here is a little template:

If everyone will use one and it will be the same one, we should decide on colors and stuff, but I really think if everyone does this the members who have no clue what folding is will try to join. Just a theory. BTW, to get stuff to line up you might want to add or remove *'s on the end.

Darn, I cannot disable VB code, so to get all the tags and stuff, just quote my post and you can see it there.

I think getting rid of the bottom line will help.

It's a great idea. I too wish we could have pictures in our sig.

I made it smaller so people can still fit normal sig stuff underneath or on top. It would be cool if we could have an OFFICIAL folding stats sig. But mine looks like crap, we need to make some big changes, but that is what this thread is for :D

yea, I had i mind something more colorfull but if we had an official thing, that caught peoples attention, and everyone's was exactly the same except for the username etc. it would attract mroe people I think.

Ummmm....I was thinking maybe a stats graphic in our avatars, but that would require coding. With the sigs, we have to change our stats all the time, its a decent idea, but not a wonderful awesome idea, so guys lets work on this, we have a good base we just need to make it better.

Are we talking about a dedicated graphical one like the Seti ppl use, or just a crappy vb based one?

And if we're going for a "one for all" sig, do keep in mind that we are in fact people outside the us :p

I think something really simple would be affective, say we all have "Join the OC Folding Team!" as the first line of our sigs, and we keep it formatted the same colour font and font size. That way all our sigs have something in common it does not need updating and it should attract attention, we could even all make it a URL and all point it to the Folding forum here.

Actually the white chunk was another part of his sig that I edited out because it was unrelated. I am assuming the blue one is a different stats thingy.;)
