burning in a cpu is the process of running the cpu a stock speed at a high voltage for an extended time...It helps break in the cpu and sometimes makes it more stable at higher speeds without adding as much voltage.

What do you mean by cpuburn?

sure you can try, there is a slight chance of damaging a cpu but if your familiar with what you doing its 99.9% safe as long as you have good cooling....i burned my PIII700@2.0v for 48 hours running seti and 3dmark2001...

If your going to do it i woud go no more that .3v over stock and just let it run

you can find the pci divider in the bios usually...do you have your motherboard manual? if not heres the link for it

http://www.tekram.com.tw/manual.asp?Product=P6B40-A4X

burning is to make the cpu more stable at higher fsb.

your manual should give you all the bios specs and settings and any ohter info you may need
