hey guyz first time post, anyways my delema is this. i have a abit mobo and a intel 2.4c cpu and tryin to overclock now when i try to up the fsb speed and reboot, when it is detecting the ide drives it doesnt detect my hd, now when i put it back to stock specs it detects it again. another weird thing is that when i up the fsb by 1 making it 201 it boots fine but when i make it 202 thats when it starts acting funny and sometimes detects the hd and sometimes it doesnt when it detects it tho a message comes up and says read write error or something like that. now for the specs on my comp 430PS hd is hooked up threw sata if anyone can help me plz do i appreciate your time. thx!!

make sure your pci/agp lock is enabled.

Yeah, sounds like your hard drive and/or controller just hates FSB increases. If you have a PCI lock, use it like snvpa said.
