Shipping was reasonable at $8.22 for standard mail, not that I bought this but just mentioning the shipping cost ;)

I don't think I would even run a Raidmax PSU in my system if I got it for free. It's really too bad X Hour is so crappy, it's just a gimmick to get people to their site every Sunday...

So thats what those basterds did with my psu:mad:. I bought a raidmax case from them thats suposed to come with a psu and it wasnt in there. You could even see little screw marks where it was before the stole it:(

These powersupplies should be rated about 200w because of their lack luster performance. I bought 3 of them last time they had this deal... 1 was DOA and the other onces give me horrible rails... but for 7.50 hey, its nice as a back up

Just what overclockers need to do... Spend hundreds of dollars on the latest hardware, and push it to its absolute limit using a piece of crap PSU.

Yup. This is the very definition of penny wise, pound foolish. This is not even good for your sister-in-law's computer--when it blows 6 months from now you'll be getting a call to come fix it so he can get on AIM with her buddy from high school. I know many of you have been there and know what I'm talking' 'bout.

least yours lasted six months, mine had just enough life time to spin up the 2 hd's in the system and them poof no power lol

*edit* if anything its worth the following:

2 80mm fans
2 fan grills
2 Alu Sinks inside
1 on/off toggle switch
2 huge capasitors
4 4pin molex connectors
2 fdd connectors
1 atx connector
1 aux connector
1 p4 connector
various screws

*2nd edit* forgot to mention that it comes wit a rubber band w00t :D and bubble wrap and a nice box for shipping for all of those who sell in the classifides.

The only Raidmax I ever had, came in a case I had bought and lasted less than 1 month. For some reason the hard drive and CD-ROM stopped working and it turned out that the 4 pin plugs could power a fan but not my HDD or CD-ROM! I decided to open the PSU up to take the heatsinks and fan out. That's when I noticed on the underside of the PCB there was a big black burn mark! Like a firecracker exploded on it!

I vowed NEVER EVER from that day on, to use Raidmax PSU's.

If you check their site YOU have to select a PSU. Right above the order now button there is an option to buy a PSU, it doesnt come with one. They dont come with a PSU unless Xoxide notes it on the case's page.

All *I* am using them for is to power a bare minimum rig.
1 CPU, 1 stick of RAM, 1 HDD, CPU Cooler, Vid Card.

Thats it.

If it lasts 6 months, then I got my moneys worth.
Even then, I still get to "steal" the fan for a case somewhere.

so this PS sucks? i got it, it was soo cheap i could not resist. but they got me on the shipping! doubled the cost of the case.

Yea i know. Im not really pised cause i wasnt going to use it anyway but i mean come on, every where eles the case is sold it comes with the psu and it says right on the friggin raidmax box it came in it has a psu. Its kind of a ghetto way of making a few extra bucks:rolleyes: .
