P3-800 (256K/PC133) work on a Abit BE-6 v1.0 ?
Using a socket to ****-1 adapter?
Having 128MB + 64MB at 100Mhz SDRAM make a difference as well?
great question I want an answer for this too! My friend has a one and I want ot steal it and use it. also which slocket should we use if we go flip chip???

Well, I'll tell ya the old BX boards didn't do 133 FSB with a lot of stability so this would be kinda hit and miss. As to a recommendation of slotket, one of the best (and my personal preference) is the MSI-6905 Master ver 2 (or newer).
I still have the same board . I used to have a PII400@560. No problem at 140Mhz!!. As long as your video card can handle the 89 or 93 Mhz AGP speed. My voodoo3 3000 AGP did it with out a problem so I think you can buy it.

Well I'm running a Celeron 800 on a generic slocket @ 135Mhz fsb on a BE6-II v1.1, and that's with one stick of PC100!!!

emm.. let's make a scenario that you are to run 133mhz bus on the PC133 on one machine and PC100 on the other machine. Both machines have the identical spec except the RAM.
If the both PC133 and PC100 RAM have the same memory speed(# nano seconds) and the RAM timing, and let say if that PC100 can handle 133mhz bus, both PC133 and PC100 should perform the same, no difference.
If the memory access speed on each of them are different, then running them both at the same mhz bus would result differently in performance from these two machines.
My old PC100 Samsong RAM was very stable at upto 145mhz fsb. Some PC100 will go much higher.
If you already have PC100 ram and if they overclock well and if you're not planning on severe overclock (150+mhz fsb), PC100 should be fine for you. If you are planning on buying some RAM, then there's no need to buy a PC100 ram. should go with PC133 or better..
