I really need to do this to my Antec Trupower 550 sometime.

Anyone try out a sleeving kit? Any problems?

I'd like to know how well this works too. Seems cheap though might as well just order it and see.

This works too. Use 1/4" for the PSU wires and floppy cables. 3/8" for the round IDE cables.

Directron sells them for 9.99

Linky (http://store.yahoo.com/directron/csk80bk.html)

I just picked up three Friday...The UV Red, Yellow, and Green

Great deal...Comes with colored zip ties and colored heat shrink.

No UV light till tomorrow...So I cannot compare it to the FlexTech as of yet...

If you do not want UV...Then I would have to rate it right there with the TechFlex for half the money for one of their kits.

Hey guys I have a question about the UV red reactive kits from Techflex... supposedly they look like this:

http://www.xoxide.com/xoxide/techflex5.html
(see bottom of page)

and my motherboard looks like this:

(second pic)

So do you think the Techflex UV red would match my mobo?? Also, the connectorz uv neon red connectors, does anyone have any experiance with those?

If you want a cleaner look, go to the automotive parts store and buy some heat shrink. Granted, you will have to remove your molex connectors, but the final product is much nicer. No zip-ties, no curly, scrunchy crap.

Small update for you guys. Newegg has the Vantec sleeving kits for 10.99 with 4.00 Fed Ex shipping which is cheaper than directron unless you go with UPS. In my dealings Fed Ex gets my stuff to the door much faster than UPS Ground

I see all these sleeving kits but nobody has UV orange... but people tell me that UV red lights up orange, so that's what the orange is supposed to be?

Vantec Sleeving kits 9.99 with 3.85 Priority Mail Shipping.

Which is slightly cheaper than Newegg.

Edit: Mike. I think the sleeves look red-ish under normal light, so you'd have to get a UV light on them good to make them look orange. Though I don't think they'd match exactly... But it would still probably look sharp. :)

Shoeby: Yea that's what I've kinda decided on. I have 3 SunBeam dual UV kits, and they make my board light up awesome, so I will have plenty of UV to go around. I also emailed TechFlex and they said the UV red was meant to be more orangish then red. So that's what I will probably go with.

The UV red is without a doubt Orange. Hell its orange under regular light and under UV its scary glowy orange

Yeah i have a demon midtower case and it's "red" on the inside, but i still think it's kinda orange looking, It seems like everything that's red in computers is kind of orangeish. LOL Good luck with the UV red mike, let us know how it turns out

Even Cheaper on the Vantec Sleeving Kits...

How does $7.95 + $3.85 USPS Priority Shipping sound? :)

Thanks Shoeby:

I didnt think the price for the sleeving could beat compared to SVC open stock of Flex sleeving but a break down per foot and the heatshrink + ties makes this a very good deal.

Much Appreciated:Snowus
