well after I installed the new 150mm fan into the side of my case blowing directly onto the Gorb (thank heavens for metal cutting blades for jigsaws! lol) I have my stability back, I also re-mounted the Gorb with some new thermal paste and gave the whole case a good clean out with some compressed air and now I have had the looping demo of 3dmark running for 6 hours non-stop !
I think I can safely say that I have quite a stable system again.

I bet if you lost the Gorb and got a really good HSF from like Alpha, you could do much better...

Yes, lost the gorb, those things suck. Get a GlobalWIN, they 0wnx0rs.
