Free HTTP server space?

Anyone know about this? Someone mentioned you can get free linux server storage with unlimited space and storage...or was I dreaming?

1&1 had a deal on free webhosting for 3yrs with 500mb storage and 5GB transfer. Alot of ppl (including me) on the forums got that deal but it ended 1/14. Thats the only free deal I remember with alot of space and transfer I remember.
