my ram is in single channel...why? i never thought to look

Hey guys, I always ASSUMED that throwing two sticks of PC3200 ram would automatically put them into dual channel. But using CPU-Z i see that they are in fact in single channel. So i didn't know if this was caused by my overclocking, so i set everything to factory defaults, and they are still in single channel. How do i set them in dual channel?

and its an IC7-MAX3 motherboard with a P4 3.0

The sticks have to be alternating slots, not next to each other. Check to see if yours are next to each other.
