I am planning on upgrading my system.

Currently a 300A @ 464 running on an ABIT BX6R2

I plan on installing a Celly 800 with a Microstar Slocket.

Will there be any issues regarding compatibility with Soft Menu etc? Is this a decent slocket? I am not sure of the model.. will confirm when I pick it up tomorrow...

Thanks.

The msi 6905 ver. 2 is one of if not the best slotkets.
It should work fine with soft fsb if you leave the fsb setting on the slotket to auto.

It is the best sloket available in the 15-20 dollar range. Beyond that you go Iwill or neo. I've tried Asus;not as good. Heard a lot of bad things about the abit.

I am running a p3 750 on a MSI 6905 master in a bx6 R2 @ 1gig. Very stable setup.

Recommended!

Love my MSI 6905 master slocket. The Abit I originally had is back in a box on my shelf somewhere.
