View Full Version : Would Two JR 120 Fan Shroud Kits fit on a caprice heater core?

The dimensions of the JR-120 are: 5.5W" x 6.38H" X 2"
The dimensions of the Caprice are: 11W" x 6.125H" x 2"

(I got this info from DTek and DD)

So the Caprice is twice as wide, that is good, but it's not as tall (assuming they're in a horizontal position)

Anyone have any experience?

i think it could work if you put a little sealant on the overhang from the shroud where it is larger, but i have no personal expierience

Yeah, that's not a problem, but I'm not sure if those long skinny bolts will fit through or not. I think they should.

jr-120 shroud is 5.5"x5".....with the screws on the 5.5".... so it'd fit but not cover the whole of the core :(

Cool, so the little amount of space that it's not covering shouldn't really make a noticable difference anyway.

btw the caprice is 11" high not wide... (i.e. the tanks are in the 11" dimension, and in the 6.38" of the JR-120...
