I am finished building my daughter's PII300 (used spare parts). Specs: PII300 SLWseries(Phillipines), Intel mobo, 128MB PC100, 250W PS, Voodoo Banshee (still the most stable card they ever produced), 15G HD. Now, I need to o/c this thing, I've heard of the B21 Pin method that will allow me to adjust the multiplier. I know HOW to do it, but then what? Obviously, the bios won't allow me to (Intel mobo), so now what? I'd rather adjust her FSB, is there any way to do this? Thanks for any help!

If you can look in the MB manual to see about FSB settings if there are not jumpers on your MB and you cannot adjust in BIOS you may be left with a software program called softFSB but dont exspect allot out of softFSB and you will have to hope your clockgenerator is supported. most Intel chips are locked so you cannot change the multiplier but i have heard that a few earlier CPUs had this option and i'm not sure if this applies to you or not.

The B21 trick has nothing to do with the multiplier. It is Bsel. It auto selects 66/100. If the board you are using supports 100 FSB by blocking the B21 pin it will select 100 FSB and you will be running at 450 MHz. :)
