O.K. I've tried everything that I possible could with my chip. I want to know what would be the best route to get this thing to 143FSB!!! What is the highest Vcore this chip can handle before dieing?? I've taken it all the way to 2.1,I'll go higher if my chip wont die. What is it that kills the chip?? Voltage or heat??I'm planning on getting the Leufken 85watt peltier kit as soon as I get my new Ram and Vid card. Will an old 250watt AT power supply be able to handle the peltier?? My sys specs are in the sig!!

can we get a little more info
what have you done so far?
what problems have you had?
what temps are you getting?
have you tryed removing anything to see if you components are causing the problem?

I personally will not go over .3v over stock voltage.
your chip is already at 2.0v, will in not run any lower?
If it wont it may be hard to get the chip anyhigher without using more that air cooling.

this extra information would be very helpful

By any chance do you have that P/// mounted in an Abit !!! slocket? If so, that could be the problem there.

It's also quite possible you've hit max for that particular chip.......

I don't think that that PSU will handle the peltier.......

I haven't removed any components yet. I've gone all the way to 143FSB with a post but after IDE detection computer freezes. Haven't tried to post higher. My temps are at aout 27-29C at idle and 36-39C full load. I'm wondering what to remove first?? Disconect a HD, or a CDROM, what should I try first?? Aything else you need I will provide!!! HD's are IBM 15Gig ata-100 and Seagate 8Gig ultra-ata.

Thanx
