View Full Version : The best MOBO for P3 overclocking?
Well, you see my spec. below. I suspect my MOBO in failure to run @ 133FSB. Moreover I'm going to buy a new harddisk ATA100, and with the current board i probably going to need PROMICE ATA100 controller.
So, I decided to switch a board instead, even that i already "invested" in SLOTKET. Is it a right move? IF so which board would you suggest? Is ASUS cucl 4 best?
Advice wellcome..

I would go for a Tualatin enabled board in order that you don't obsolete yourself and your bank account too quickly.

I have a cusl2 and I'm very happy with it; but if I were you, I'd wait for the tualatin version...
Sorry for stupid question, but what is Tualatin version?

The new P3 chips, runs at a very low voltage and requires a modified P3 board to run ... seen them out there ... someone should have that link (think supermicro has one, dunno for how much$$$).
Probably I sould be mere clear...
I DO want to keep my P3 700, and swich ONLY the MOBO.
Asus CUSL2-C I took my board up to 166fsb which was the max setting in bios. The board just rocks for OC. Many others have had great luck with it to and it is has been my favorite board for OCing Intel chips for quite a while now.
