case came with side panel window. did the blowhole window mod with 80mm fan. just finished a duct mod out of plexiglass for inbetween tornado and sp-94 to eliminate the dead spot. ordering my last wd raptor drive and xp pro this wednesday, so should have it up and running next week with results. looking for a good thermal sensor device that comes in black to add.

Cut the blowhole yourself in the acrylic? I was thinking about doing something similar. Wondered if you had any tips

link to 80mm holesaw
the case came with the side acrylic window, so i'm going to put three layers of tape on both sides of acrylic window and will be using a 80mm holesaw. go very slowly so acrylic doesnt melt and place a board underneath the window. dont force it and take your time. for duct mode i went to lowes and got some .093 acrylic stuff from window section i believe. used utility knife to cut 4 pieces and used goop glue to hold it together. will put updated post when i complete window mod with two additional 80mm holes.

Hey, it looks like you have a LOT of the same stuff i plan on getting soon.
1) Your fan controler is the one that also has a dial for a light correct? Do you like the controler, can you use any brand of lights with it?
2)Your drives seem to match really well, did you have to die them or anything? Did you put any thought into stealth covers?
3)I think you have mesh filters on your side intakes. Do they work well? Do they block much of the air flow?
Sorry for all the relatively basic questions, Im a noob.
Looks AWSOME man!!:D

I've got the same case... man they are really nice. I didnt want to cut holes in my window for fear of cracking or slipping and scratching the crap out of it. Nice system you have there.

thanks for the comments. I like the vantec nexus 305 controller. came with two uv cathode lights and am currently running my 92mm tornado fan on channel 1, two 80mm vantec blue spectrum fans on window mod, and running the 80mm fan on the blowhole mode on channel 3. with regards to drive i didnt die them just luck. the mesh filters on the side intakes work well. have a newly built home and the basement isnt finished. seems to stop the dust and the fans still are getting good air supply to cool the board and memory. next upgrade will to sleeve all my cables blue:)

Nice. Good work man.
Is it loud? You have a lot of fans and that tornado... and your temps are awesome. About how loud is it?
