View Full Version : Tualatin Compatability
ok, the intel tualatin processors are the pentium 3 but with the .13 micron technology. my question is: will i be able to put one of these in my 810e chipset(133 fsb) system? will the chips need a whole new chipset to run it or will it run on the old p3 chipsets?
No you won't. Obviously intel though using a p3 on a p3 motherboard was just silly and felt the need to bring out a new motherboard for it. I tell you they must have a carbon monoxide leek in intel head quarters or something with all these stupid decisions they keep making. Theres a chance powerleap may come out with an adapter for it and maybe there will be slockets but don't hold your breath.
