How low would be to low to cache L2 in a celeron 533 and no its not a cele 2

I have it clocked to a whopping speed of 600mhz lol but I am trying to squeeze everything out of it that I can so I am tweaking every little thing can on it I am running L2 cache at 3 right now is it posible to get it to 1 or maybe even non without burning it down?

Thats why I am asking I don't have the cash to replace it right now so I don't want to nuke my chip and or board

Thanks for everyones help so far

The Celeron won't do 1 anyway, the max L2 latency is '2'. But there's a chance you can get a few more Mhz's out of that thing by setting the latency to '15', just try it, you won't burn anything! Lower cache latency gives more performance, where higher gives a more stable system. Come to think of it! I have never even tried this myself, LOL! My 280Mhz OCed Celeron still runs at '2' so I definatly am gonna give this a shot myself next time!

I tried using h-oda's l2 latency changing thing on my cel 566, but it won't change. P3's have their l2 at 0 btw.

15????OK so your saying that by uping the cache you can make it run faster???
