program runs too fast

hello

i have an acer travelmate laptop and it has a celeron (650 i think!!!). i had an old 486 laptop that ran an old program on it but the program runs too fast on the new machine due to the faster processor. is there anyway to slow the processor down? i have tried using moslo but it doesnt work.

This is an issue with some older programs. Most of the big companies (I know Dell does this) have a key mapping that you can use to throttle back your CPU. You might want to look into the knowledge base on that laptop to see if they do the same thing.
