View Full Version : 1054 mhz!!!
well it made it posted at 1054 and made it all of the way though my linux bootloader but then when i selected windows well my fun ended with an error. I dont think its a good idea to push over 2.05 v into the chip so i think im going to stay at 954 for now. not bad for a celly 566
Indeed. Great job Ebola! Sounds like you got a good chip.
Thats pretty damned flashy for a 566 :D
What stepping is that, and what cooling have you got going in that system?
its a cBo chip. yep its batboys cbo to be exact.
i have a alpha pal 6035 with a delta 38 pluged into a 3 to 4 pin coverter.
sadly may case is old and it sucks bad. real bad. airflow is at a minimum and my harddrives put off alot of heat. the only way to keep cool above 850 is to leave the cover off but thats not a good idea with a delta.
looks like i have to go shopping.

Congrats!! I had the same thing at first, so as you have said you will do (run @ 954) I also did but evry now and then would bump her up. After a good while of doing this (about a month, 2 months) I was finally able to run stable @ 1054. I have even been able to back the volts down a little (1.95v) Love to see another Cb0 566 well on it's way to doin' the gig jig :)
hopefully it will work out. ive already been able to lower my 850 voltage from 1.7 to 1.65.
