My Pc3500 hyperx used be set at 2.5-3-3-8 with PAT disabled for a stable 228FSB 1:1 ratio. However after a cutting a hole for an intake on top my case (it's right over the top of the ram) I can now set it to 2.5-3-3-7 with PAT enabled. Will try for more speed to see it is stable. Maybe the CH5 chips need more cooling than Bh-5s? I just thought this an interesting turn of events.

I'm relatively sure at least ONE of my sticks is CH-5 because it's so new, and I', able to run 2.5-8-3-3 without PAT on my rig for 230 1:1. However, my ram is almost directly cooled by my MCX4000 heatsink and the 80mm fan on top -- the air from the side of the heatsink blows right over to the first ram slot.

I think I recall getting errors with it at 2.5-7-3-3, but it's been a while. Maybe I should check it out again now that I have everything else stable...

I am looking foward to seeing the results of the extra cooling. I was thinking about adding a little 40mm fan that I have over my ram slots. If this is actually working for you it would be all the motivation I need to try something like this. Keep us posted :D .

Highest FSB I can get is 230 FSB 1:1 2.5-3-3-7 with PAT enabled. Any higher FSB results in memtest86 errors at around 400% tested. Vcore is at 1.575v and Memory is at 2.85 V
