Westell Modem?'s

I have a Westell Modem from Bellsouth with the code B90-220030-04 on the bottom. Iv tried googling and came up with some results but some were contradictory and now im all confused :p. anyway my questions are : is this a router? Netgear says it is because of the ip address its giving my router, bellsouth says its not. And #2… is this a firewall or not? Some sites say it is and a very good one, some say it doesn’t even have a firewall…

i'd say that it's as much of a firewall as a linksys home router. if you want some info on the modem, check out dslreports forums westell section

so many different ISP's flash the modem differently though. not sure which features which isps use.
