The whole BH-5, BH-6, and CH-5 thing, are the BH and CH acronyms for anything? I'm curious.

nope. Just names for a stepping of winbond chips.

According to the Kingston tech KHX3000 is overclocked whatever (2700 or maybe even 2100) that will run at 370MHz suposedly at 2-2-2-6-1T ..
The pair I just sent back would not pass memtest at 2.5- 2-2-6 at 370MHz .. It defaulted to 2.5-3-2-7 and ran 3DMark01se at 6690 .. 1/2 of the score of the KVR333 (pc2700 value ram) in my sig.

A lot of HyperX PC3000 is BH-5 based on general consensus on various overclocking forums... some are BH-6 also. As a general rule any of the HyperX rated 2-2-2 is BH-5. My 2x512 PC3000 are BH-5 and can run 220 non vmodded @2.9v. They have run 240 on a vmodded NF7-S v2.0.
