Ok I am not quite a newbie with overclocking anymore, but I still have alot to learn yet. And I keep hearing about people talking about crap like Cc0 stepping and Bc0 stepping and stuff... I dont want to feel lost in the dark when I read stuff, I dont know if this exactly relates to overclocking, but I would like to know if anyone has the time to explain it to my dumb arse. :)
The steppings tell you sorta in which order the chips were released. You know how you have for example Internet Explorer 4, than there was 5, and 5.5 and so on... its same thing with CPUs.
cB0 is an older stepping, and its harder to overclock a cB0 chip.
cC0 is newer, and it overclocks easier.
Hope this helps!
