i got my l7vta 1.0 about 5 months ago for 45 pound, it has every thing a mobo can have but its no good at clocking at all and its proformance aint that good ether so i was lookin at some mobos and i seen a DFI Infinity Nforce2 Ultra SKT A 8xAGP SATA 400/333/266 LAN 6ch Sound Firewire for £65 + vat, i know dfi mobos are the best mobos you can get and seeing this at £65 +VAT and p&p i thought why not get this.
any one got this mobo or know if its any good?
Thank you please
The DFI Infinity NFII Ultra is a great board. You can't go wrong with it. :D

ok so i dont know there the best mobos, maybe one of the best mobo makers but you didnt anser the question:D
I agree with Alexia, the Infinity is a great board. But I wouldn't say all DFI boards are so great. Check out the DFI section to see what others thought of that board, they all seem very happy with it.
Well, DFI has been making some great enthusiast type boards in the last year but I wouldn't say they are the best....but then again I might have my own bias.

ahhh that mobo sold out soon as ou lot posted lol so i ordered a MSI K7N2 Delta-L SKT A
It looks like the Infinity is getting the highest bus speeds right now…but if you’re not looking for high bus speeds the MSI should serve you well.

Ok will it still be good for overclocking because in the reviews of ppl that got the mobo said it was?
It"s not a bad overclocker but the Abit NF7 and DFI Infinity are getting the best overclocks right now. If you’re planning to do some extreme overclocking, the MSI is not the board for you…but if you’re into moderate overclocking then it should be fine. If you plan on keeping your DDR333 then get the MSI…but if you're planning on buying some DDR 466 or 500 and pushing the FSB to 230 or 240 don’t get the MSI.

thanks that solved that prob but what about this one. i got the board working but it runs worse in 3dmark03 and aquamark 02, i even maneged to set the fsb to 200 which makes my 2500+ barton processor to a 3200+ on cpu z and in the boot screen but it doesnt improve the 3dmark 03 score or the aquamark02 score. does anyone know why this could be and how could i clock it with improvment?
