IE6 sp1 slows down

I have a problem with IE6, all of a sudden every new IE windows that's opened starts loading the page but after a few seconds the entire window freezes for like 30 seconds. So you can't scroll or use any buttons or hyperlinks, WTF? After 30sec. it's all normal. The rest of the system stays responsive and taskmanager does not show anything at full CPU load at all. Anyone?!
