Possible hack file??

I just found a file in my computer listed as
C:/.....on/ocx/ion.ocx
Is there any way to find out what this is, as I tried to read the file, and it dissapeared on my screen.

and ocx file is like a dll file

That link says its a previous generation of an activeX control... I would run some spyware detectors.
