I have a celeron 600 running on a Abit BH6 rev 1.1. I can only get a max 1.9 voltage setting on the motherboard with celeron 600 so I can only hit 945 mhz. Is there anyother way then the trick of mixing the pins on the cpu itself to get a higher voltage setting? I run it on an Abit slotket with voltage settings but the motherboard bypasses them :(
please help.............thx
You set the slotket voltage for 1.80 then manually set it in the bios and it wont let you go any higher?
I dont know why the slotket wont let you get higher voltage. Maybe use another brand of slotket.
I use a iwill slotket on a abit sh6 and it lets me set the voltages above normal in the bios.

The motherboard seems to bypass the slotket setting, so you meant I should set the slotket at 1.8 and auto on the motherboard?
Or do you mean set 1.8 on the slotket that should be a default voltage for the cpu in bios settings?
On my iwill I set the voltage for 1.8 then the bios will read the default as 1.8 so when I manually set it in the bios it lets me go higher than it normally would.

Go to the motherboard forum, there is a post in there about the voltage mod on Abit boards that should get you to 2.0 volts.
Try this before you go modding anything. Download the latest bios . Go into your bios and set the voltage to the max you have available. Flash your bios using this command line:
A:\>awdflash bh6_xx.bin /cc /cd /cp /py /sn /cks /r
replace the xx with your bios version. My Bh6 1.0 uses the SS bios. Yours may use the SP, I'm not sure. This absolutely works. I've done it twice raising my available voltage to 2.2v. You will be happy.

Thx Sempei It worked :D
I tried it manually in awdflash menu but it didnt work, but doing it in command setting it worked thx again.
Coooool! Glad to help. Let me know how high ya get. Maybe yet another Celly 600 will climb to the top of mount Gig! One thing you might want to consider. I noticed you're using an Abit slocket. I had one also, at first. No amount of voltage up to 2.1 would keep me completely stable at anything over 927. At 1.95, all was stable except Prime95. Just for kicks, I replaced the Abit with an MSI 6905 master slocket. I was instantly stable in Prime95 and even dropped my voltage to 1.9. If you have stability problems keep this in mind.

It runs stable at 990 at 1.95v and crashes in windows at 1008, I maybe need better cooling or maybe its the slotket dont know..
What are you using for cooling? If you're running the stock HSF I would say improved cooling would be a very good idea if you intend to run at 1.95v. When I put my Alpha PEP66 on I noticed a big improvement but it still wouldn't run stable at 1008 until I replaced the Abit slocket wit the MSI.

Using Arctic Silver, or any thermal grease, makes such a huge difference. At least in my experience. So if your not using any, go get some!!!

What kind of cooling do you have on your 600, I have a Gorb and am able to get my 600 to 1027 vcore @ 1.9
