modders mesh Where to get??

I was thinking locally. I went to home depot and tried to explain but I wasnt thinking to well. I think it went along the lines of " Excuse me but do you guys have something like chicken wire but more decorative?? The guy was puzzled then answered with a quick no. Help me out here its obvious I need help. If you dont know local then online but with a variety please.

Home Depot has gutter gaurd.... its probably what your thinking of. Also, most steel shops carry "Expanded Metal" in several designs. Stop by your local steel shop and see if they have anything.

Yeah, HomeDepot has Gutter Mesh. Two flavors: 1) Metal (aluminum I think) is 8'' by 48'' sheets, 2) Plastic, black color in 8'' by 6' rolls for about $3-$4. I picked up some of the black plastic to cover the front panel where I cut out the front restrictive grill. It allows at least 90%-95% airflow and is very cheap. The pattern is a diamond shape and is not quite as nice looking as modders mesh, but doesn't require painting to avoid rust, doesn't cost as much, and is much much easier to work with.

on to p of that shipping for me costs as much as the product. 3-4 bucks I can afford just to see how it will turn out .

What are you planning to use it for?

I have some scraps of modder's mesh back at home. They're sized for 80mm and 120mm fans. If you're willing to wait, I can track them down when I'm home for spring break.

Try to find someone getting rid of an "old-school" satellite dish...I got a bunch of wire mesh with somewhere between 1/16" and 1/8" holes (never really measured) off of one...it peels right off of the frame. I got a bunch to use as speaker grills on some PA monitors of mine, but it also would work great as modder's mesh...

I got some wire that measured about 1/4 inch squared, in a roll that could build a nice fence for about 10 bucks from lowes. Probaby gutter wire but its good for mods.
