i just got my watercooler set up, and i need more volts for my Celeron 2 1.9 is the max i can get off it right now... ,
i know i can do the pin hack to push 2.1 volts out of it..
or should i just buy a new slotket with all the voltage optiions already on it.
My genaric slotket only lets me change the voltage by the bios, not the slotket itself....
Right now i think i am just goin to pick up the new slotket..... unless someone can convince me that the voltage hack is just as good of an option to go.

Well it doesnt hurt to try vidpinning, if you try you must pay special attention to your default CPU voltage lets say your default was 1.7 then try for 1.9 thats what i did and now i can ur to 2.10, if you try for to much then it wont work alltogether i did not get it to work until my third time because i kept shooting for to high of a voltage, you can find this info at www.hardocp.com the article will explain things ive missed, if it doesnt work then it may be time for a new slotket.

goodluck

I recomend buying a new slocket as they can affect stability quite a bit, go for either an asus or Iwill, I use the Asus s370-dl and have no complaints.
with a slocket you will be able to change the voltage much more easily for tweaking to get it just right. Plus like I said you want the best stability as that generic slocket may hold you back a bit.
