I have asked before but I am seriously unhappy with the answers I have gotten to this question.

I need to know for certain exactly what this line in the following nvidia driver menu means exactly.

Specificaly I am talking about the following line of which the section I am interested is ...

max agp rate.................8x...........8x.........2x... ......8x.....

The 2x part.

Details of full menu situation below.

CAPABILITY.---------------GPU---CHIPSET---OS---OPTIMAL
max agp rate..................8x...........8x.........2x.. .......8x.....
max request que.............32..........32.........32........3 2......
fast writes.......................yes.........no....... ..no........no......
sideband addressing.......yes.........yes.......yes.......y es....

AGP RATE--------4x----------|8x

I really do need to no because I am worried about the 2x issue, I need to no whats going on.
Sisandra says I am running at agp8x and its set at 8x in menu and bios and dxdiag shows I am agp8x but still.

DOES anyone else have the same setting in thei5r nv driver setup.
The drivers I am refering to are 53.03/52.16 and so on.

I need to no people its bugging the pants of off me lol.

Plus bf1942 anyone no of a fix for the game forcing a reboot and not playing?

The drivers are written for a wide variety of systems. That is simply showing the range of agp rates available to the card. If DXdiag and all other programs show 8x rate, i wouldnt' worry about it.
