P3-733EB: Average overclocked speed - 894 Mhz.

The 'EB' models have less headroom for overclocking that the plain E's, because of the higher FSB (133).

Intel CPU's are multiplier locked, so your only chance is to raise the (already high) FSB. Is there an option to do this in the bios? If not, you might have to tinker with some jumpers on the board.

Rule number one: Have sufficient cooling! Cooling is often underestimated by people with little OC knowledge, but it is in fact the key to a successfull overclock. A better heatsink than the stock intel HSF combo is recommended, and it is extremely important to use a paper thin layer of thermal grease between the cpu and the heatsink.

Could you be more specific about the motherboard, but also video card and other devices please? Then I'll try to help you some more if I can...

I'm also running the 733. The highest stable speed I get so far is 853 (155*5.5) at 1.7V. Between 155 and 166 I get BSODs. This isn't one of the good OC chips, but it's still fun to play with, and it's default speed ain't too shabby. :-)

BTW, since RAM prices are so low, you might grab another stick or two. Never hurts to have a little extra memory with a fast processor. 768meg here. (FYI, I've seen the 512 meggers as low as $70.)

Have you got any temp monitoring software? If not, MBM (motherboard monitor 5) seems to be what many people use. You can get it here (http://www.tweakfiles.com/diagnostic/motherboardmonitor.html). As Allan said, temps are gonna be one of your biggest concerns when OCing. Good luck.
