They might have had a monopoly position for decades, but they ARE what got us all here, including AMD... They have always delivered excellent quality CPU's, and that's what enabled OCing to become a common thing amoung PC enthousiasts. I also like an Intel CPU on an Intel chipset, cuz it is ultimaly supported by each OS and software/drivers. However I'm not saying I'm not starting to believe in AMD these days...I'm just not convinced about those Via chipsets.

when i had an intel i was happy but now 1.2 ghz for the price of an 933 mhz p3 just sounds better

They are as alright as any Mega-super-conglomo-entity can be I guess. Those blue guys do suck tho.
