duron 1.6 overclock

i am currently running my duron 1.6 @ 2.2ghz with 1.85v. however it seems i have maxed out the cpu........ does this sound correct or should it go higher than this? it is a miuhb chip and i have performed the xp mod on it. i have heard that the xp mod could be limiting my overclock due to the extra cache - is this true? if so would removing the xp mod make upping the core speed not worthwhile? thanks

I've heard the xp mod limits by an amount not worth it.

cool so taking the xp mod off again should let me go quite a bit higher? whats the performance loss with the decrease in cache?
