i have a celeron 300 wich i have clocked to 374 mhz but i can't get it any higher becouse of the motherboard(no more jumper settings) i have checked to see if i could change the multiplier without short cutting something, i couldn't the fsb runs at 83 mhz i hope you got some way to clock it futher (you can't draw on it like you can on the thunderbird, can you?)
thank you in advance

I would go to tweakfiles.com and download softfsb
That is probally your only option aside from getting a new board

Whats your mobo?

And on Intel chips you can't change the multiplier, only the FSB.

You need better cooling and then a slight increase in voltage.

Well no, his FSB limit is 83mhz. It must be an LX board.

Go buy a new mobo with a wider range of FSB's

yes the board is a shuttle hot-631 it juses the intel i440 LX chipset

yep, you are at your highest then, the LX chipset blows especially compared the superb BX. Get a new board and chip, its about time, and the Durons are filthy cheap right now.

My mistake, I thought he said that it won't reach 83 MHz FSB, but if he's running 374, it is maxed out on that mobo and won't go no mo.

Yeah, a new board would be needed to go further with that chip.

374 was the best I could do with my 300A without a bump in voltage. After a change in motherboard, and a while of "burn-in" I was able to get 504 at 2.2v, and 450 was then stable at default (2.0v). Great little chip! 68 % O/C, with a 10 % vcore bump. Wish I could do that with my P///. ???

Yea 300A rock, I can post at 600, thats a 100% overclock!!!

Though if you look in the CPU database theres some at 750mhz....I find that really, really hard to believe.
