Has anyone overclocked a p-4? if so was it through changing the bus speed of the motherboard?

Yes you can overclock a p4 by changing the fsb.
If you look in the cpu database section from the main site page you will find p4's in it.

I didn't see any p4's in the database---i did see that they are available to list a o/c'd speed---but non were listed---has anyone overclocked a p4?

Thats odd there were some there when I looked about a week ago. You are right thou none listed now.

this is an old, old thread...back in the day when the willamette p4's were crap...that didn't overclock well and were slower than p3's even at overclocked...
