hey, instead of Methanol, can I just use rubbing alcohol?

I guess the most-relevant graphs are the Thermal Conductivity on page 1 and Dynamic Viscosity on page 2. I have heard of people using isopropyl in WC rigs, but I am unaware of the proper mixture.
Also you will probably get quicker / more-informed response if you repost this in the water cooling specfic section.

I usually just add a tablespoon or so of Betadine in my loop instead of something that easily evaporates :)

Isopropyl can and will react with any acrylic. Not good, but it may be irrelevant if you don't use clear tops. Antifreeze shouldn't hurt system performance, but will prevent corrosion and stop growth.

DO not use rubbing alcohol.. it's way to thin..
