So I got my hands on a demo version of PCDJ-FX, and so far it seems to be a really amazing, powerful piece of software. The only problem I'm having is the fact that I can't cue up music via headphones.
Now, since I have a GTXP sound card (that has craploads of input/output choices in the break-out box) I figured PCDJ-FX would be able to channel only the sound of the track I am trying to cue up through my headphones, while playing the current track through my speakers - just as if I had turntables and mixer.
In fact, PCDJ-FX supports this feature: in the configuration menu, you can select which channels the playing tracks go through, and which channels the tracks you want to cue go through. However, I just can't get the darn thing to work! My headphones and speakers play the same thing - both the playing and cued track!
Does anyone have experience with PCDJ-FX, or GTXP soundcards? I have less than 5 days remaining on the trial version and would really like this thing working before I consider shelling out the cash to buy it.
