Heh, gotta make as much fuss as possible because it will probably only last a day, since some dumbass killed a poor defenseless spitfire duron today  :D Will probably be 2 weeks before I see this again :D

I'm barely able to hang on to yellow these days myself.

My main folder is down for an RMA and I've been having ISP hangups that have killed new WU downloads for whole days before I discover it. My #3 folder just lost over 36hrs because of this. Gotta be obsessed and watch your folders several times a day if you don't want to lose any potential points. I've just been too busy with full time employment and school.

It's tough keeping things going, and once you get into the top 300 that climb is steep. If you don't have massive borgage, it can take a couple of days of solid green or yellow production to move up one or two ranks. I hope you get your hardware settled, because I think orange would suit Mad Max better than yellow or green.

I also had trouble with the Win98 one-click that Nitro-boie made so I just do this method that I have posted before.

If you want the folding stealthed on Win98, you have to download the graphical client and then take the main Winfah file and move it to were ever you want it because all the folding and log files will be in C:. Create a shortcut to this Winfah file and copy the "target" line from the properties.

Run REGEDIT then
Click on the + for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
then the + for Software
then the + for Microsoft
then the + for Windows
then the + for current version
then click on RunServices
then right click on the right side and click New String Value
Name it FAH (or what ever you want)
Then right click the string and click Modify
Then use the "target" from the shortcut you had setup above with the flags and then close REGEDIT.

Now remove the shortcut from the startup menu and uninstall the graphical client you downloaded to get the Winfah file. Folding will now take place stealthed. Now I haven't figured out how to so if any one knows let me know but all the folding files except the actual Winfah file will be in the C: drive. If you know how to make it run from the original location of the Winfah file let me know. Thanks

I think you can change everthing running in C by editing the location in the "start in" line found in properties. If it wont work that way There must be something in the regedit that would do that also right? Me? I have no idea how but would assume it can be done.

BTW congrats on the fleeting moment of yellow RW. :D Keep at it and you'll get it perminantly. Just one more rig.:D

Congrats, RoadWarrior! Hope you get your duron up soon!

Come on guys! Pass me! sean_uk and I were hanging out together for a while, until I was able to borg my sister's brand new P42.6 and pulled ahead.

i've got permission to borg 3 rigs on w98 but don't seem to be able to get the win9x one click to install
I have the same problem. There two people I work with, that promised to fold for me, but the win9x one-click isn't working for them. They each live about 30-45 minutes away. I may have to drive out to their houses so I can set it up manually.

I hope you guys are able to boost your production. I am going to have to borg some more just to keep up. I was hoping to catch up to Cowboy Shane, but he has really taken off here lately!:burn:
Congrats, Shane on moving up to page 2!

Keep folding strong!:attn:
