I know its a revamped PIII but what exactlly is it?

From what I understand..I'm new too :)...It's a completely new core...made with even smaller components...to simplify! The original PIII cores were manufactured with a .18micron process. Not sure exactly what that means...but I believe it's in relation to the size of the components in the core. The new Tualatin processor cores are manufactured with a .13micron process. Gotta do some studying myself!!

yeah..ive seen these things at 2.2ghz before?? im guessing they are more heat effecient than the orig p3 as well.

Yes .13 micron = less power = less heat.
