Can someone tell me if its possible to overclock a pII 400, and if so how it should be done.

It's possible. But how depends on the components. Foremost the motherboard. Do you know what the make and the model motherboard you have? What kind of system is it in? Is it a name brand system. Dell, Micron, Gateway, Comcrap?
