Does anyone have info on how I can set my PCI dividers. I will start by saying that I have a Dell so my BIOS sucks ass. I can overclock my PIII 600E to 744 using CPUFSB but this OC's my PCI to 41.3. The MOBO is an Intel 440BX. I give all who read and respond a preemptive thanks.

You wont be able to change it, you'll have to jump up/down a FSB speed to get your PCI bus back into a respective range.

The PCI clock will be automatically set for u.

MOST OF THE TIME, if you cant find it, you probably cant change it.

Damn. The only other setting is at 103mhz. Is it possible to run PCI at 41.3 without causing problems?

yes, it is certainly possible. In general, the better the components on the pci bus, the more likely they are to work. Sometimes too high of a pci will cause problems, so just try it and see. Mine is 41.3 with no probs.

Umm, am I missing something here??? At 103 MHz FSB, your PCI bus should only be about 34 MHz. At 100 or above, most motherboards with automatic settings will be running at a 1/3 PCI clock divider. William, if you can run your PCI at 40 or above, you're doing better than me.

No batboy he's saying with his o/c as it is the PCI clock is 41.3

He was wondering if it was safe.

My mistake, I thought he said the only setting he could use was 103 FSB. That sounds weird though. Jumping from 103 to 124 FSB, most mobos have at least a 112 setting in between. Yep, 41.3 MHz on the PCI bus is ify at best. I've scrambled a harddrive at 40 MHz PCI bus once before.
