800EB question

2 128 Sticks of 133 mhz Ram
Oc'ed V5500 @ 178
SB Live Value
Quantam Fireball 30 Gb @ 7200 rpm
ethernet card

So far ive had this clocked at 840 for about 2 mnths now, rock solid.. although it isnt much of an overclock..
My question is I've seen some posts discussing dividers ie. 1/1 3/4
What does does this divider describe and what should b the correct setting?
I believe the only choices I have are 1/1 and 3/4.
Is there anything i can do with these dividers to make my system more stable @ higher fsb's?
I cant get this badboy ne higher without becoming unstable inside of games.
Ive upped the voltage to 1.75 but hasnt made ne changes....

Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on the mobo (I have no experience with yours) you can actually have several clock dividers. AGP, PCI, and memory bus dividers. The 1/1 and 3/4 dividers are probably memory bus dividers. The 1/1 runs the RAM at the same speed as the FSB and the 3/4 runs the RAM at a slightly lower speed. Try 3/4 to see if that helps. Nothing to lose. If it does work, then you might need faster RAM in order to run it at full speed.

it's easy,you can put your system at 900, stable like a rock, keep it in auto, you have auto 1/1 and 3/4, keep it auto and also keep it at 1.70v, go to the chipset settings, and in the latch delay reduce from 1.5 ns to 1.0ns and reduce agp multiplier from 4x to 2x, and put the fsb at 150 Mhz,now rebot it ,and be hapy. and don't forget to have a decent cooling

using ASUS CUV4X the cpu was overclocked to 800@930 1,7V ok (freeze in 3dz) and 1,75 rock stable..
