I'm trying to find an adapter for my Cel2 800 (100).
I know there exists the Powerleap NEO S370.
But I am looking for other ones.
My mobo is a Bp6 with dual cel500@600, now I was thinking to use a single cel2 800 (100).

I think the Powerleap is the only one worth getting. If not the only one period.

I take it you want to OC that 800 if you get it. My recommendation is, even though that BP-6 is a great board, and hard to let go, sell it. Sell it with those 500's and buy yourself a nice Abit or Asus board and an 800.

You would be stepping up to faster memory bus, 4x AGP, ATA-100 support. and better overclocking options than that BP-6 can offer. Besides, even if you get two 800's and two powerleaps, Celerons above 533 aren't SMP capable.

Trust me, I know how much you probably love that BP-6 ***King reaches over and pets his BP-6*** it's time to let go. The circle of life has run it's course.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Not my Bp6!!!!!
It's not it's time yet!!!!!!!! ;)

No, but seriosly...
I wasn't thinking of getting dual cel2's only one CPU.
But well, I think you are right.
The time of UDMA66 and AGP X2 is probobly over...

I just upgraded from a BP6 and I'll never even consider going back, my current setup blows that one away.

I still only use UDMA66 and AGP2x, but those damn Highpoint controllers really bite the big one. Used to get 100+ undewriting errors making CDs, now I might get 1.

It served its purpose, but now with prices dropping daily, it should be as good a time as any to upgrade.

Also, all my benchmarks (but my memory) increased dramtically (say 30% plus!). Gaming is insanely smooth.

I use the powerleap adapter on my BP6 and it works great, and its the only adapter i've found for PPGA to FCPGA. As for the BP6 i have had no Highpoint problems or any problems with that board even when writing CD's...I love it

I don't mean to be rude here but, did you use the standard drivers that came with the mobo (the driver disk)?
If you did, you're a real dumb-ass. The old ones always caused buffer underrun errors and even lock up the comp entirely. With the new drivers, it works exellent.

even with the standard drivers (v1.22 i think) i never had any problems, although i have heard of a few problems. If you download the newest RU bios from abit they also have the updated highpoint drivers included
