I just got a p3 850 E ,cC0 stepping, on a cusl2 board,
256 mb pc-133 ram,geforce2 64 mb......
The problem is that, I cant pass 1003 mhz, that is
118 mhz fsb... Now, I have a cool cooling system that
keeps the cpu at that speed at 36,high load 41 C..
I tried bumping the voltage to 2 V, even did some lapping...but no...........I am using a thermal paste...
Any ideas? Thanks.

The PCI is stable...its running at 39 mhz....i dont worry about the pci.....I had a p3 667@935,187 mhz fsb,48 mhz pci, and everything ran cool exept i had to shut
down the ata66......Any ideas people?
Well, you upped the voltage and it still didn't post any higher... I'd say, more cooling or you've alreeady seen its max.

UH are you using thermal compound? i didnt really understand. You may need to get your temps down more if you want to get any higher, if my CPU gets above 35C then i can exspect lock ups and some general unstability. If your not using thermal paste or compound or your using the thermal pad that some HSF's come with then go to Radioshack and get some thermal compound and your temps will definatly go down.
