need to reinstall to use second cpu?

am i going to have to reinstall win2k and xp so they will use the second cpu i just installed. finally gave my 800e a twin brother on my vp6. thanks

What are you using now? If you're using a good build of Unix, don't bother - you're probably already using both of your CPUs. Same for NT4 - when the blue screen at boot comes up, it will say "1 System Processor" or "2 System Processors". If you are using 98, well, then, you have one 800 MHz processor running your system and a second 800 MHz processor creating heat and nothing more.
