All of the Intel CPU's multipliers are locked sorry all overclocking has to be done by raising FSB [frontsidebus] Check the CPU database and see how others have done with your CPU, most of your succes with overclocking will have to do with your MB, memory, and cooling your system. read through the tips section and get yourself a good background as theres a little more to this then changind a few settings well unless you only want a small increase but i'm sure you will get over a gig out of her and then some.

goodluck

A: All intel is locked on the multiplier. The way you overclock is to raise the FSB on an intel.
B: You do not want a stock heatsink and fan
C: Keep a close eye on your temps
D: You can check the Id codes on your CPU and then search the CPU data base off the front page and see what of the other CPUs from your batch got up to.

Yes it does man I hate it but till I build a new rig for my self I am going to stay intel its cheaper. I don't have to gut my case and start over
