which program allows easy fsb adjustment with my board? and does it work?

I want to underclock when idle and go back to normal when I play games

do these work? I have never used one before but it seems a bit more risky that doing it in the bios and having the ability to sense instability before it gets to windows.

I have used clockgen before and currently have it installed. It is a nice little utility built by nVidia to let u change the fsb without having to reboot multiple times and to allow an OC that Windows normally wouldn't boot into.

In fact I have actually gotten a higher OC with ClockGen in Windows than in the BIOS. Clock Gen does not give u access to anything besides the FSB and AGP though.

clockGen works great as long as you take it slowly ..

this program is working great for me so far.


I have an older p4 with the ASUS WMT-LX board, is there any programs that will support this, so i can oc it?
this chip and board are a little over three years old.
