This is the second time this has happened. I tinkered mith my PIII 750 and now it won't POST. Last time this sort of thing happened, it worked after a few days. My question is what exactly did I do? I took it off to adjust the Delta I mounted on a GORB. When I put it back in, I decided to add another 128mb stick of different and generic RAM. Next thing, I heard beeps. I'm pretty sure it's the processor, although it may be the RAM. The thing is that I've already mixed the RAM with no problems in the past. I'm also ure it isn't the video card since I swapped it with one I worked with a few days ago. So that pretty much leaves only the processor. I already plan on getting a cheap backup tester Celeron and I have a new board coming in soon. Any idea as to what I did

The beeps will tell you what the problem is. Dig out the manual and track the beep pattern down in the manual under "troubleshooting". It could be that the video card isn't seated all the way in, it may be the CPU, it may be memory that isn't seated all the way down. Those are the things I would check first.

Have u tried to swap the RAM sticks to different banks? Have u tried to remove one of the RAM sticks and start up your PC?.. If you haven't done these, try it. it may work. :)

Yeah, I got it working again just yesterday. I thought this post would just sorta die...
