Hello,

What is the safest voltages to use to get my p3-700 to 125 bus, Itried 1.7 at 125 buss , moitor would not turn on, also what should vio voltage be set to ,default is 3.4. I have a Global WIn fop32 heatsink, but no case fans in a 17" tower, room temp about 23-24 (70-73 deg)

Thanks

My personal rule is no more than .3v over stock...but there are alot of chips that have run higher without a problem....what I would reconmend is to get some fans in that case and some temp monitoring before anyting else that should help you out alot, after you know your temps are good you could start raising the core voltage to overclock higher

I agree with the previous post...I've never had mine above 1.85v but have seen people go higher. They get hot when you start bumping the voltage or overclocking more than 10% or so, so definitely get some temp monitoring software...you might wanna think about getting some case fans in too. You could already have some heat problems if you overclocked already with no case fans. You can get a program called Motherboard Monitor here ("http://www.tweakfiles.com/diagnostic/motherboardmonitor.html).
